Commemorative candle. The Taimyr Region during the years
of political repressions. Memoir
The Koch family is very well known in the Taimyr Region – a rather big family, very amicable and considerate, the members of which belong to the long-time residents of the settlement of Potapovo gehört. They have been living here since 1942. Due to an Ukase dated the 28 August 1941, Alexander Davidovich Koch’s family was deported to the Krasnoyarsk Territory. During navigation, when in 1942 the Yenisey was ice-free, Luisa Karlovna Koch and her two little children were deported to Ust-Chantaika as special settlers, later to Potapovo. Vladimir Arthurovich Koch was born in this place, nowadays a well-known enterpriser in Potapovo, a remarkanle manager and good economist.
