Exile / Camp Report given by Maria Georgievna Bardina

In the summer of the year 1930 the Soviets deported the ZINOVYEVs (farmers) from the village of KURGANTCHIKA, KURAGINO district (today KRASNOYARSK region):

Shortly before they had sentenced G. (Y.) ZINOVYEV to 2 years imprisonment and subsequent exile; however, they obviously did not put him into prison. From 1918 to 1921 he served in the Red Army.

The family was exiled to the settlement of BEREZOVSKIY, ZIMOVSK village Soviet,

PYSHKINO-TROITSK (?) district, TOMSK region, and had to appear for registration and periodic checks at the commandant's office until 1946.

06.07.1994, recorded by V.S. Birger, Krasnoyarsk, "Memorial" Society
