The project „Recurrence of Truth” will be realized in Kansk. The new project is going to be worked out by the Kansk Museum of Local Lore. The decision was made today, on the 1st of November, during an event dedicated to the Day in commemoration of the victims of political repressions. To the meeting, which took place in the premises of the museum, were invited members of families (children and grandchildren), who were adversely affected by repressive measures in the thirties of the past century. The attendants remembered those times and exchanged their family histories in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The stock taken from this meeting was the decision of the museum’s staff to realize, in cooperation with eye witnesses of the events of those times a project under the headline „Recurrence of Truth“. As the news service of the Kansk administration informs, the finalization of the project is supposed to result in a completion of the museum funds by personal histories, documents and objects, as well as a more detailed definition of the list of victims of repression in the town and district of Kansk.
