Statement of a victim of repression

Mother – Bauer, Maria Genrichovna, worked for a kolkhoz farm in the Volga Region.
Father – Bauer, Jakob Christianovich, worked as a tractorist in the Wolga Region.
Brother – Arthur, born in 1940, run over by a car in 1949.
I do not know, why we were repressed. The people said so, and everybody confirmed it.
We removed from Shila to a sovkhoz called “Udchniy” not far from Minderla and then to Tolstomysovo. Later, this was in 1957, we removed once again – to Sukhobusimskoe.
The people’s behaviour towards us was differing, but nobody ever tried to assist or support us.
No, there is no good to recall. Thus, we better do not to remember the past.
I would have liked to receive a good education. And I always wished to be able to return to my home village.
