As a rule these people look for assistance in finding replies to their questions and in solving problems, which, expressed in official words, „are in connection with the realization of the Rehabilitation Law“.
However, from time to time people merely want to give us information on victims of reprisals, their relatives or acquaintances, but actually do not look for any support. It means that they just contact us for the only intention to help preserve the memory of the victims of terror known to them.
However, in such cases, too, we immediately try to clarify, whether or not practical questions have already been solved (for example, whether the victim has been accepted as such).
If it turns out that this is not the case, we try to convince the people to look into this matter first. If they ask us – why, then we usually explain to them that our organization is, of course, interested in receiving replies to all these questions and in solving the problems concerned on a greatest possible scale.
