On the 30th of May, the Yenisseysk College for pedagogics carried out the action "Return of the Names " for the first time; they also held a presentation on the project "Yeniseysk Exile".

On the 30th of October 2019, the settlement of Kuragino traditionally carried out a number of events dedicated to the Day in commemoration of the victims of political repression.
In the district park “40th anniversary of victory”, at the memorial stone, there was a meeting attended by rehabilitated citizens, college students, representatives of the district administration and the administration the settlement of Kuragino, the district and settlement councils of veterans, district offices, as well as members of the "Junarmia" youth movement.
Afterwards there was a meeting of rehabilitated citizens in the premisses of the District Museum with experts from various district offices: the Social Security Authority, the Center for Social Services, Archives, Museum, etc.
Before the participants of the meeting students of the Kuraginsk Middle School No 7 appeared to perform a literary sketch based on the poem "Requiem" by A. Akhmatova.
The director of the District Museum, J.A. Katina gave a lecture on the period of repressions and held a multimedia presentation; she also reported on the museum exhibition, which had been organized on the basis of documents.
The most prominent expert in archival matters of the administration of Kuragino District, A.J. Kalyuga, informed about the opening of the fund "Collection of Documents on Rehabilitated Citizens" in the District Archives and presented documents received for safekeeping.
The meeting ended with a performance of the musical collective of the Kuragino District Palace of Culture.
Events dedicated to the Day in Commemoration of the Victims of Political Repression were also held in other villages within the district. Exhibitions were shown in the libraries, and encounters with veterans had been organized. Special lessons on the time of repression were held in the schools.
In the villages of Marinino, Bragino, Berezovskova, and others, the veterans
councils of settlements and villages carried out commemorative meetings.
